GLAC TRACK AND FIELD 2025/26 DATES

The GLAC calendar for the 2025-2026 Track & Field season is 12 weeks of regular programs plus Regional and State events and GLAC Championship Day.

Season Commences: Saturday, 4th October 2025

Last Event Before Christmas: TBC

First Event After Christmas: TBC (GLAC Combined Events Day & 60th Anniversary Celebrations)

Championship Day: TBC

Please note: All pre-Christmas meets will be held at Goldsworthy Reserve in Corio. Post-Christmas meets will return to Landy Field, subject to the completion of the track upgrade.

Weather Cancellation or Program Changes

Cancellations of weekly competition programs may occur throughout the season due to wet weather or extreme heat conditions. If you believe a program may be cancelled—whether on a Saturday morning or prior to a twilight event—please check the GLAC Team App or Facebook page after 7:45am for updates.

Decisions regarding cancellations are made by the GLAC Committee, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of athletes and officials. In some cases, programs may be adapted or modified to suit prevailing weather conditions.
